GLOW PATCH NOTES
New Features
- In this version, we made a series of accessibility improvements for visually impaired users. Glow will now respond much more accurately when Screen Reader or other reading tools are enabled. This allows visually impaired people to use it more easily.
- We optimized Glow to make it more efficient and reduced power consumption. Thanks to these improvements, we decreased CPU usage and increased performance. Glow now runs more efficiently with less processing power.
- Starting with Glow version v25.16, it is now compiled with Visual Studio 2026's modern compiler. This brings the latest security updates, bug fixes, and performance enhancements for .NET Framework 4.8.1.
- The x86 (32-bit) architecture has been completely removed from Glow's source code. As a result, Glow now operates more stably and faster.
- We conducted extensive work to increase startup speed on Windows 11 systems. As a result, Glow's startup speed on Windows 11 improved by 40% and is now closer to Windows 10 levels.
- An Active Power Plan feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows the system's currently active power mode.
- An Active Power Plan GUID feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature displays the GUID number of the system's active power mode.
- A Display Timeout (Plugged In/Battery) feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows how long it takes for the display to turn off both when plugged in and when on battery power.
- A Sleep Timeout (Plugged In/Battery) feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows how long it takes for the computer to enter sleep mode both when plugged in and when on battery power.
- A "Processor Thread Count" feature has been added to the Processor section. This shows the number of threads the processor is currently running.
- A "Processor Handle Count" feature has been added to the Processor section. This shows the total number of system handles the processor is currently executing.
- The SFC and DISM Automation Tool has been improved. It now displays the progress of all executed commands as a percentage.
- A timer has been added to the SFC and DISM Automation Tool. This allows the tool to dynamically display the runtime and report the total duration at the end of the test.
- The System Identity Creation Tool has been improved. Identity generation now starts automatically as soon as the tool opens, allowing you to focus only on saving and comparing steps for faster operation. Additionally, timestamps have been added to report names to prevent confusion between reports created at different times of the day.
- The Cache Cleaning Tool has been improved. All cleaning paths are now processed as system variables, allowing dynamic automatic detection even if users change their directories.
- Bluetooth 6.2 support has been added to the Bluetooth Information Tool. Additionally, we improved and updated the reading infrastructure on Windows 11 systems, enabling nearly twice as fast read performance.
Bug Fixes
- A rare issue that caused Glow to fail to locate the folder containing language files on some systems and special environments has been fixed.
- In the Graphics Card section, an issue that caused monitor information to become mixed up on systems using multiple monitors has been resolved. Information for each monitor is now displayed correctly.
- In the Motherboard section, a problem that caused the BIOS Update button to open the URL incorrectly in some browsers has been fixed. The link now works correctly in all browsers.
- An issue that caused the RAM Speed feature in the Memory section to appear inconsistent has been resolved.
- A bug in the Quick Access Tool that prevented the Tab key index order from being rebuilt after buttons were rearranged based on the interface language has been fixed. The Tab key now navigates in the correct order.
Changes
- The Operating System section has been simplified and reorganized. Some features were combined, and others were optimized. The section now has a clearer and more organized appearance.
- The Motherboard section has also been updated in a similar way. Features were merged and optimized, providing a cleaner and easier user experience.
- The appearance of the Used RAM Amount feature in the Memory section has been simplified.
- The icon sizes in the left menu were slightly reduced to create a cleaner look.
- The top bar content was proportioned to be aligned both to the left and right, ensuring a balanced layout.

New Features
- The dark theme has been redesigned! It now features a modern yet simple design principle that is easy on the eyes!
- Polish language support has been added.
- Glow's program size has been reduced by 80%. Glow now occupies as little as 1.4 MB of space.
- Glow's RAM usage has been reduced by 45%. Glow now uses very little memory, around 45-50 MB.
- The System Identity Generation Tool has been added to vehicles. This tool allows you to verify hardware integrity when you deliver your computer or take it in for service. It creates a unique device identity based on system components; the identity automatically updates when parts are replaced, and changes can be reliably detected. It provides a detailed report on which parts have been added and which parts have been removed. Accessible via the CTRL + G shortcut.
- The USB section has been reprogrammed! The source where USB information is read has now been set to a different location that brings more USB devices. This allows the display of devices such as keyboards, mice, cameras, microphones, etc.
- The USB section has been updated with the USB Device Publisher feature. This feature displays the manufacturer of the selected device.
- The USB section has been updated with the USB Device Driver Version feature. This feature displays the driver version of the selected device.

- The DHCP First IP Assignment Time feature has been added to the Network section. This feature shows when your network connection receives an IP address after the computer is turned on.
- The DHCP Assigned IP Renewal Time feature has been added to the Network section. This feature shows when your network connection will send a signal to your network to obtain a new IP address.
- The Sound section has been updated with the Sound Device Driver Version feature. This feature displays the driver version of the selected sound device.
- The Sound section has been updated with the Sound Device Driver Date feature. This feature displays the driver date of the selected sound device.
- An opacity adjustment feature has been added to the Screen Layout Tool. You can reduce opacity by left-clicking the button in the top left corner, and increase opacity by right-clicking it.
Bug Fixes
- The issue that prevented the title bar color from changing correctly and promptly while the dark theme was active on Windows 10 systems has been fixed.
- Code errors in the update checking and version control systems have been fixed, resulting in optimizations.
- The issue in the Operating System section where the Windows Defender Core Isolation feature sometimes appeared as "Unknown" on Windows 10 systems has been fixed.
- The issue in the Operating System section where installed Anti-Virus, Firewall, and Anti-Spyware software continued to show as installed even after being removed from the system has been fixed.
- The issue where the Cache Cleaner Tool detected the wrong directory when the user changed the cache directory has been fixed.
- The issue where 'NUL' appeared next to the monitor name in programs like Visual Studio Code has been fixed.
- The error causing fields such as the Montiör serial number to display incorrect data due to an error in the index conversion algorithm has been fixed.
- Errors were fixed and optimized by adding missing values in the double-click copy feature.

Bug Fixes
- The DPI and image processing engine error that prevented the content area from automatically resizing on monitors with 4K and higher resolutions has been fixed. This issue occurred in version v25.14 and has now been resolved.

New Features
- You can now copy all the features written in blue within Glow to the clipboard with a double-click, without generating a report! This is an advanced feature and works fully compatible with Hide Mode.
- A Primary Operating System feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature indicates whether the currently running operating system is the primary one on systems with multiple operating systems installed.
- A Device Serial Number feature has been added to the Motherboard section. This feature shows the device serial number if it is a laptop, or the motherboard serial number if it is a desktop. This allows you to check your device's/product's warranty.
- A Virtual Machine Monitoring Support feature has been added to the Processor section. This feature indicates whether the operating system is running on a virtual machine as detected by the processor.
- A Monitor Name feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature displays the hardware name of the monitor.
- A Monitor Manufacturer feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature displays the name of the monitor's hardware manufacturer.
- A Monitor Manufacturer Number feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature displays the manufacturer number of the monitor hardware.
- A Monitor Serial Number feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature displays the serial number of the monitor hardware.
- A Monitor Connection Type feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature shows which interface the monitor is connected to the system with.
- A Monitor Production Year feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature shows the production year of the monitor.
- A Monitor Production Week feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature shows the year, month, and week number when the monitor was manufactured.
- A Monitor Hardware ID feature has been added to the Graphics Card section. This feature shows the hardware ID of the monitor.
- The DirectX Driver feature in the Graphics Card section has been improved. Now, if the selected graphics card has multiple DirectX drivers, all of them are displayed side by side.
- In the monitor selection box, both the monitor number and the monitor name are now shown. Additionally, in multi-monitor systems, the numbering order matches the monitor number order within the system.
- The Battery section has been completely reprogrammed. It now includes a much higher quality feature set.
- The Battery Status feature in the Battery section has been improved. It now shows the remaining time while the computer is charging or discharging. Additionally, it can detect if the battery level is fixed for protection purposes.
- The Battery Model feature in the Battery section has been improved. Battery Model and Battery Serial Number are now displayed as separate features. Furthermore, the Battery Serial Number can be hidden when Hide Mode is enabled.
- The Battery Chemistry feature in the Battery section has been improved. It can now detect a wider range of battery types.
- A Battery Design Capacity feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows the battery's manufacturing capacity in mWh.
- A Battery Full Charge Capacity feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows the power capacity when the battery is fully charged (100%) in mWh.
- A Battery Remaining Capacity feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows how much power is left based on the current battery level in mWh.
- The Battery Voltage feature in the Battery section has been improved. It now supports a much wider and more consistent range of devices.
- A Battery Charging Power feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows how many watts the computer is charging with.
- A Battery Charging Current feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows how many amperes the computer is charging with.
- A Battery Discharging Power feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows how many watts the computer is discharging with.
- A Battery Discharging Current feature has been added to the Battery section. This feature shows how many amperes the computer is discharging with.
Bug Fixes
- A bug that caused Microsoft Office not to be detected on some systems despite being installed has been fixed.
- A bug that caused the wallpaper to be detected incorrectly when multiple users or multiple monitors are present has been fixed.
- A critical parsing error that caused the Serial Number feature in the Motherboard section to display incorrectly has been fixed. It now shows correctly.
- A bug that caused the System Family feature in the Motherboard section to display as 'Unknown' despite being present has been fixed.
- A bug in the DirectX Driver feature in the Graphics Card section that caused incorrect display, especially when multiple GPUs are present in Intel graphics cards, has been fixed.
- A bug in the modem connection speed feature in the Network section that showed connection speeds above 10 Gbps as 'undetected' has been fixed.
- A bug in the connection speed feature in the Network section that caused incorrect readings when using Cloudflare WARP, VPNs, and similar services has been fixed.

- A bug in the Installed Applications section that prevented opening the file location by double-clicking on any installed software in the table, even when the file location was valid, by showing a warning has been fixed.

- Errors in code blocks containing many logical mistakes have been fixed and the code has been optimized.
- Many translation and localization errors have been fixed and language files have been optimized.

Changes
- Operating System support has been adjusted due to the .NET Framework 4.8.1 system requirements. Glow now supports Windows 10 x64 20H2 and later, all versions of Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 x64, Windows Server 2025 x64, and later versions.
- The Windows License Key copy feature has been changed. Instead of a button, you can now copy the key directly by double-clicking on the text without generating a report.
- The Serial Number feature in the Motherboard section has been renamed to Motherboard Serial Number.
- The System Family feature in the Motherboard section is no longer hidden when Hide Mode is enabled.
- Since the BIOS Update button overlapped the motherboard name, we moved the button to the bottom of the BIOS section.
- Since desktop computers don't have batteries, the Battery section is now resized to a single line container.
- The sorting order in the Monitor section has been reorganized along with the new features. It now has a more accurate order.
- The repair window of the Stuck Pixel Repair Tool can now be resized slightly smaller than its initial size.
- Some colors in the light and dark themes have been changed to improve theme compatibility.
- Some localization improvements have been made in the Turkish language.
- We are almost finished with the Glow source code optimization process. Very little old and problematic code remains. We will continue improving and cleaning up the source code.
Removed Features
- The Processor Microcode Status feature in the Processor section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Processor Platform feature in the Processor section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Processor Feature Set in the Processor section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Processor Revision in the Processor section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Processor Old Revision in the Processor section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Desktop Resolution feature in the Graphics Card section was removed because it was non-functional and did not provide accurate information.
- The Physical Disk Name in the Disk section was removed because it was of no use to users.

- In this version, Glow has been thoroughly optimized for Windows 11 25H2 for corporate users and is highly suitable for business use.
- The Stuck Pixel Repair Tool has been added to the Tools section. This feature allows you to quickly repair stuck pixels on your screen. It has the most comprehensive feature set of its kind on the industry. You can access it with the CTRL + C shortcut.
- All scroll bars in the Glow interface have been reprogrammed to be dark in the dark theme. They now work in harmony with the Windows 10 and 11 theme colors.
- All checkboxes in the Glow interface have been reprogrammed to work in harmony with the Windows 10 and 11 theme colors.
- The System Theme feature has been added to Glow settings. When this feature is selected, it follows the Windows theme color, and the Glow theme color will automatically change when the system color changes. You can access it with the F3 shortcut.
- The TS Preloader operating system has been reprogrammed and optimized to be compatible with all Türkaysoft software. Thanks to the high-speed loading algorithm, all our software now opens very quickly.
- The October 2025 security update for .NET Framework 4.8.1 has been integrated.
Bug Fixes
- The About section no longer freezes when opening due to too many language files.
- Most interface creation errors in the TS Custom Controls module have been fixed and optimized.
- The error that occasionally caused the TS Preloader to freeze has been fixed.
- Various punctuation errors in some languages have been fixed.
- Punctuation errors in some languages that did not include UTF8 character encoding have been fixed.
Changes
- We updated the size and spacing of some areas to make the interface look more organized.

Bug Fixes
- TS Preloader was flickering during preload. This issue has been fixed.
- TS Preloader was showing a low FPS during preload. Performance has been improved.
- TS Preloader was showing an unnecessary gap below the preload visual at high DPI values. This gap has been removed.
- Interface selection boxes appeared misaligned. Alignment has been corrected.
- The heights of the buttons within the software were inconsistent. They are now standardized.
- The user interface elements of all tools appeared inconsistent with each other. The design has been made consistent.
- A blank white space was visible below tables in Light Theme mode. This issue has been resolved.
- The widths of all tables in Glow were not DPI-sensitive. They now scale correctly.
- The row spacing of all tables in Glow was being overridden. The correct spacing has been restored.
- On multi-monitor systems, values for the Desktop Resolution feature in the GPU section appeared missing. They are now listed correctly.
- The Wallpaper Viewer was showing blank table values in some languages. The data is now displayed correctly.
- When the clear button was pressed in the Installed Drivers, Installed Services, and Installed Programs sections, the table would not return to the top. It now automatically returns to the top of the table when the clear button is pressed.
- The read functions for Installed Drivers, Installed Services, Installed Programs, and Dynamic Network Usage were overriding their startup rules and running asynchronously in their own environments. They now operate in accordance with the rules.
- In the Screen Layout Tool, the second disk always appeared as drive D. The second disk is now correctly detected even if it is a different drive letter.
- The partition loader engine would sometimes freeze due to access issues outside of the user interface thread, giving a "Invalid Thread Calls" error. This behavior has been corrected.
- The Operating System section would occasionally freeze on its own after running for a certain period. It now runs smoothly.
- The software could crash when the Glow window was resized while a blue screen file was already present on the system. This issue has been fixed.
- If a blue screen error had occurred previously on the system, the software could freeze when Glow's blue screen detector was activated. This no longer happens.
- When the 'C:\Windows\memory.dmp' file was present without the 'C:\Windows\Minidump' folder, pressing the Open Blue Screen Folder button would open the wrong folder. The correct folder is now opened.
- When hovering over the Show Blue Screen Folder button, only the Minidump folder was opening. Now, if only the 'memory.dmp' file is present, it is correctly selected in File Explorer.
- The Show Blue Screen Folder and Compress to ZIP features were not visible on the interface. They are now visible and usable.
- There was a missing component in the Export module. The missing component has been completed.
- The order of information in the Export module was incorrect. It is now displayed correctly.
- The Export section could become active before all sections had loaded. This has been fixed.
- The Export section would sometimes remain disabled even after all sections had loaded. This issue has been resolved.
- The About section would freeze when opened. It now opens without issues.
- The About page was showing a gap below the preload visual at high DPI values. This issue has been fixed.
- The Disk Benchmark Tool was starting the test before measuring read and write speeds. The timing has been corrected.
- All DPI issues in the Disk Benchmark Tool interface have been resolved.
- The RAM Benchmark Tool was not considering the inner padding of control buttons on high DPI screens. The padding has been corrected.
- The RAM Benchmark Tool's control buttons were overlapping on high DPI screens. They now appear correctly.
- All DPI issues in the CPU Benchmark Tool interface have been resolved.
- In the DNS Test Tool, an "Invalid IP Address Entered" warning was incorrectly displayed when the button was clicked and then Cancel was pressed. It now works correctly.
- The DNS Test Tool displayed an unnecessary scroll bar when opened on high DPI screens. This has been removed.
- The buttons in the DNS Test Tool appeared too close to each other. The spacing has been corrected.
- Some sections of Glow were not working in certain languages due to placeholder providers. These sections now work smoothly.
- The error that allowed Glow to close without checking its working status while the SFC and DISM Automation Tool was running has been fixed.
- The error that allowed Glow to close without checking its working status while the CPU Benchmark Tool was running has been fixed.

Changes
- Language files have been optimized by removing unused variables.
- When Hiding Mode is active, it can now hide the RAM Part Number, Assigned IPv4 Address, Assigned IPv6 Address, Used DNS 1, and Used DNS 2 addresses. This change creates a more secure environment for our corporate users.
- The variable names within all tools have been updated. They now have names that are consistent with the relevant tools.
- A donation section has been added to the bottom of the Export section. You can donate by clicking the button there.

- The Installed Applications section has been improved. It now displays Size and Installation Date properties. Additionally, its sorting has been updated to match the Control Panel's sorting.
- Glow can now detect drivers for headphones that connect via a wireless dongle.
- The Wallpaper Display feature has been improved. It now shows not only the image but also detailed information about the image.
- The Cache Cleanup Tool has been improved. The Windows Icon Cache Cleanup feature has been reprogrammed to clean properly.
- The cross-loading module for all tables within Glow has been reprogrammed. The program now runs more smoothly when receiving a large number of inputs.
- The height of all tables within Glow has been made DPI-compatible. It now looks more modern.
- Security updates for September 2025 have been integrated into .NET Framework 4.8.1.
Bug Fixes
- The error causing the tables in the Loaded Drivers, Loaded Services, and Loaded Programs sections to freeze when high input was received has been fixed.
- Missing translation errors in Portuguese have been fixed.
